Founded by Thomas Grinnan in 2021, Axle Grease Project provides its clients with critical assistance, advice, and information to penetrate new markets and execute their business objectives. We primarily work with clients in the life sciences, drug delivery, packaging, medical device, and healthcare segments, focusing on critical commercial, innovation, and marketing projects.

Thomas Grinnan is a global executive who thrives in new markets, leveraging 25+ years in the drug delivery, packaging, and pharmaceutical industries. He was most recently Vice President, Sales & Marketing – Healthcare for Silgan Dispensing Systems, a division of global packaging conglomerate Silgan Holdings. Prior to that, Thomas held numerous leadership positions in business Development, Sales, and Marketing at Westrock and its predecessor companies (MeadWestavco, etc.). He has a passion for strategy, sales growth, and patient outcomes and impact, with a unique skillset in Sales Management, Strategy, Drug Delivery, and Patient Adherence solutions.

Thomas’ work experience has spanned the globe, with two overseas assignments in Europe (2005-2008, 2015-2018), always focused on growing life sciences/healthcare and packaging businesses. Thomas has extensive expertise in primary packaging, and secondary packaging, as well as all phases of drug development (clinical trials to commercialization) and the diversity of drug delivery and dosage forms.
